Design Education Adventure Underway!

Pst! I have something exciting to announce to the world!

I am in college! Yes you read that right! COLLEGE!

Currently I am enrolled in a Graphic Design Certificate Program that focuses not only on the industry standard software but also on the principles of design and the production on a professional portfolio! I started my journey earlier this month and I am loving it every step of the way.

I can tell I am already learning good principles of design as when I look at the examples of my past work I cringe at how amateurish they are. My first instinct is to rush in and reconstruct each and every piece and replace them with a corrected version.

Will I go through with it? No I think it would be more beneficial to me to just replace them with newer pieces I create as part of my studies and archive the old ones in blog posts to document how far I have come and how much I have learned over the course of my Second Career program.

So stay tuned to this blog I will be updating it with how my college journey is going!
